PlatON Cross-chain Bridge will upgrade the USDT and USDC contracts on the PlatON network on June 5. During the upgrade, all cross-chain functions will be suspended, and are expected to be resumed at 10:00 (UTC) on June 5.
After the upgrade, PlatON Cross-chain Bridge will support cross-chain Deposit and Withdraw functions for USDT and USDC contracts based on the PRC-12 standard, and cancel the Deposit operations for the USDT and USDC contracts before the upgrade, while retaining the Withdraw function.

[Features of the Upgraded Contract]
The PRC-12 standard stablecoin contract will be upgraded on the PlatON network
• Gasless payments and authorization
• One-click payment
• Account abstraction contract wallets can sign and call new stablecoin contracts, such as Argent, Safe, and Unipass.

Users who held USDT and USDC before the upgrade can exchange the cryptos through the following two ways:
(1) The Withdraw fee for the original USDT and USDC will be reduced, and users can withdraw them to the native network through the Withdraw function.
(2) PlatON Cross-chain Bridge will launch an exchange channel recently. Then users who held USDT and USDC before the upgrade can exchange them at a 1:1 ratio for the upgraded USDT and USDC through the exchange function.
