On Apr.9, 2020, LatticeX Foundation, the next-generation financial infrastructure to incubate promising projects that facilitate the development of LatticeX system, PlatON and the whole blockchain industry, officially announced the first Grants funding projects of its $10M first funding plan on cryptography.
The first funding plan on cryptograph of LatticeX Grants program is the first and biggest funding program in the cryptography field, and it supports diversified researches on cryptography with $10M fund in total. And the first funding plan on cryptography are open to all teams and projects on Secure Multi-Party Computation (MPC), Zero-knowledge Proof (ZKP), Homomorphic Encryption (HE) and hardware implementation on cryptographic algorithms. Since it’s released, it has been well-received by developers, tech experts, and scholars worldwide, and the LatticeX Foundation has received plenty of applications from cryptography researchers, top colleges, node partners and even teams and individuals from other projects’ communities.
After evaluation and deep communication on the architects, designs, solutions, technologies, etc. of projects with applicants, 3 promising projects that are highly relevant to and facilitate LatticeX system and PlatON ecosystem stand out to be the first funding winners. Project category: Cryptography
Details: college project on the popular science, research and algorithm implementation of MPC, ZKP and HE.
2. Team/Applicant: University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
Project category: Security
Details: college project on security EVM from Computer Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, focus on the research on blockchain technology, blockchain security and the performance optimization of blockchain
3. Team/Applicant: Community developer
Project category: Education and Community
Details: project from PlatON community, mainly focus on the building, maintenance and development for PlatON tech community
